Marie is the author of "2013:
END OF DAYS OR A NEW BEGINNING- ENVISIONING THE WORLD AFTER THE EVENTS
OF 2012" released July 2008 by New Page Books. She also wrote "PSIENCE
- HOW NEW DISCOVERIES IN QUANTUM PHYSICS AND NEW SCIENCE MAY EXPLAIN
THE EXISTENCE OF PARANORMAL PHENOMENA," "SUPERVOLCANO: THE CATASTROPHIC
EVENT THAT CHANGED THE COURSE OF HUMAN HISTORY" written with her
father, geophysicist Dr. John M. Savino, also for New Page Books, and
"LOOKING FOR GOD IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES" for Paraview Press.
She
is now working with Larry Flaxman, President and Senior Researcher
of ARPAST, for a partnership called ParaExplorers. Their first book,
"11:11- THE TIME PROMPT PHENOMENON- THE MEANING BEHIND MYSTERIOUS
SIGNS, SEQUENCES AND SYNCHRONICITIES," was released in February of 2009
by New Page Books. Marie and Larry explore everything from repeating
numbers to cosmic equations to numbers as they relate to the
paranormal, resonance, the blueprint of reality, sacred geometry and
all kinds of intriguing things you never knew about numbers. Their
August 2009 release is "THE RESONANCE KEY: EXPLORING THE LINKS BETWEEN
VIBRATION, CONSCIOUSNESS AND THE ZERO POINT GRID," which picks up where
"PSIENCE" left off, plus a whole lot of new research, theories and
information about the true nature of reality and even how it relates to
paranormal phenomena. Next up is “THE DÉJÀ VU ENIGMA: A JOURNEY THROUGH
THE ANOMALIES OF MIND, MEMORY AND TIME” for a June 2010 release.
Marie’s work includes over 50 inspirational books
for PIL/New Seasons,
and articles, essays and stories in magazines, online ezines,
newspapers and anthologies, including five Chicken Soup for the Soul
books. She is a regular book reviewer for CurledUp.com, BookIdeas.com
and AbsoluteWrite.com. She formerly produced a line of videos for
national distribution, including an award-winning children's
storybook-style video. Her articles have appeared in New Dawn Magazine,
Whole Life Times, Alternate Realities, The Daily Grail, ThothWeb, the
North County Times, Tuned In, Entertainment Daily L.A., UFO Digest, UFO
Magazine, and many others.
She is a New Thought/Metaphysics
minister with an extensive background in metaphysics, spiritual
studies, and the paranormal. Marie spent fifteen years as a field
investigator for the Mutual UFO Network in Los Angeles and San Diego,
and wrote for many paranormal magazines. Her interest in both science
and the paranormal goes back to childhood, as has her passion for
writing and storytelling. She currently serves as Director of Special
Projects to ARPAST, the Arkansas Paranormal and Anomalous Studies Team.
She
worked in the entertainment industry for over 15 years, at Warner Bros.
Records, UAA Films, Omega Entertainment, and other film companies in
L.A. She has also written dozens of movie and video reviews for major
publications and wrote script coverage for several motion picture
production companies. She has also competed twice (and won!) in the
annual NANO (National Novel Writing Month) and is a partner in Onward
and Upward Entertainment with her screenwriting colleagues Helen Cooper
and Tony Quirk. She is currently developing a screenplay and working on
ideas for TV and film.
She recently appeared on the History
Channel’s “Nostradamus Effect” series and has been interviewed on
hundreds of radio shows all over the world, including COAST TO COAST AM
WITH GEORGE NOORY, SHIRLEY MACLAINE SHOW, FEET 2 THE FIRE, NPR, KPBS
RADIO, X-ZONE RADIO, KEVIN SMITH SHOW, PARANORMAL PODCAST, RICHARD
SYRETT SHOW, DAVID JAMES SHOW, LATE SHOW WITH IAN COLLINS, BEYOND
REALITY WITH THE GHOST HUNTERS, and many others. She has been featured
in dozens of magazines, newspapers and websites. She is a favorite
guest on many paranormal and metaphysical radio shows, and her podcast
interviews are often the most downloaded in many show archives. In
addition, her own articles appear on popular blogs and paranormal
websites all over the world. She is a popular speaker on
science and
the paranormal and has appeared at major conferences and events.
Marie is a single mom to one son, Max, and
currently resides in sunny
Northern San Diego County, California.
